Can I use LUNA™ 3 without the app?
You can, but in that case, you will be able to use only the cleansing mode of LUNA™ 3. However, to unlock your device for your first use, you must register through the FOREO app and select your cleansing intensity preferences, and then you can start using LUNA™ 3 without the app.
When it comes to massage treatments – you cannot avoid the app. You need the app for two reasons – there are four massage treatments so with the app you choose which one you want. Each massage is navigated with the video in the app so you need it to get the best experience of your facial massage treatment.
How to use LUNA™ 3 without the app?
To turn on the device you need to double click the button on the backside and the device will start pulsating. After 60 seconds (or more if you set a longer duration) the LUNA™ 3 will automatically turn off.
If you want to stop the pulsations before the end, you can hold the button on the backside for 5 seconds and it will turn off.
How do I turn off LUNA™ 3?
LUNA™ 3 automatically turns off after the treatment ends. If you want to stop cleansing or massage mode in the middle of a treatment you can do so by clicking “Done” at the bottom of the screen in the app. The alternative way is to hold down the button at the backside of the device for 5 seconds.
How can I change the intensity of pulsations?
The intensity of pulsations is controlled by the app. You can change it by going to the main menu, (click on the three horizontal stripes) and choosing “My FOREO products”. After you select your device, you can go to settings and change the intensity.
We have one more trick to reveal – While you are testing the intensities, you can keep changing it until you discover the one that you like best. When you find your perfect match, you just click “Done”. The intensity you choose will be saved and used for all future cleansings.
Can I change the duration of the cleansing?
The duration of the cleansing is also controlled by the app. When you open the app and choose your device, you should go on settings and select your desired cleansing duration. Keep in mind that the minimum cleansing duration is 60 seconds.
How to start massage mode?
When you open the app and select your product you will be immediately sent to the cleansing mode screen. To start the massage mode you can click on “Go to massage mode” above the “Start” button at the bottom of the screen.
On the new screen, you will have a slider with all treatments (you see the next one by swiping right and go back by swiping left). After choosing the treatment, simply click “Start treatment” and enjoy your navigated facial massage.

Can I use LUNA™ 3 with cleansing oils?
You can use any facial cleanser with LUNA™ 3, but to keep your device working perfectly, avoid clay-based, silicone-based, or grainy cleansers as they may damage the silicone.
How to register my LUNA™ 3?
The LUNA™ 3 has a new, more simple and quicker way of registration. The first time you turn on the device you need to connect it with the app. Simply turn on the Bluetooth on your phone and turn on the LUNA™ 3. Once they sync, the product will automatically register.
I haven’t received a scratch card, who should I contact?
Don’t worry, you don’t need a scratch card anymore. The older generations of LUNA™ devices had scratch cards with the serial number that were used for the product registration. LUNA™ 3 doesn’t have it because you automatically register your device the first time you connect LUNA™ 3 with the app.
Where can I find the serial number of my LUNA™ 3?
You can find the serial number of your LUNA™ 3 in the app. Just go to the main menu, click on “My FOREO products” and choose the device whose serial number you want to find. The next screen, titled “About product”, shows your serial number as the first listed number.
If you’re looking for your serial number in order to register your product, don’t worry about it. Your device was automatically be registered the first time you connected to the app.
I’m struggling to add my Luna 3 to the app, I was going through the register and warranty process and the Luna turned off so it disconnected from the app, when I went to try again it says it’s already registered (to my email) but it’s not showing on the app and Now I cannot use my foreo. I can’t get it to vibrate or connect to the app to do any of the cleansing things.

My Luna 3 is not responding anymore to anything. The blue light is constantly on and my device is not answering to the app, the button on the back or the charger. It looks like it’s already faulty.. I only have it for 1,5 month now. Hopefully you will have some tips how to prepare my Luna.

For $300 Aus I would have assumed this was easy to use! It appears it is the exact opposite of easy! I cannot get my luna 3 to turn on let alone pair with my phone or the app!!! the led light is on and it has been charging for 3 + hours! When I press the button, nothing happens? when i unplug it and press the button, nothing happens. It does not appear in my bluetooth to pair. LITERALLY NOTHING HAPPENS!!!!!!! REALLY UNHAPPY I HAVE PAID $300 FOR SOMETHING THAT DOESNT WORK AT ALL!!!!!!

Hi there! When I try to use a treatment with my Luna 3 plus, the microcurrent is not so micro – I tuned it down to level 1, but hurts as hell. And I’m quite tough, I use my foreo bear on the max, and it is awesome. But this level of pain is really gives rise to suspicion. I already removed and installed the app again, I’m clueless at this point… what do you think?

Hello, I have Luna 3 a few days. The first day I registered the product and paired it with my phone. The first day it all worked without problems, but since then my Luna has not connected to the phone and I cannot use massages and change the intensity. can you advise me what to do with it? Thank you

Then re-install the app, check if your LUNA™ 3 is charged and Bluetooth is turned on and try to connect to the app. Also keep in mind your wi-fi connection must be strong in order to download treatments via the app. If that doesn’t help, contact our lovely Customer Service via customercare-emea@foreo.com and our agents will assist you further. Hi, when I double click the button to start cleansing, my Luna 3 runs for 10 seconds and then stops. I need to double click to start again and it runs for a full minute. I’ve been reading the explanation and it seems that this is a common issue. However, this issue has never happened to me since I bought it in May 2020 until I tried to use the treatment mode few days ago. I couldn’t change it back to a full minute as I used before without stoping after first 10 seconds. Also, I got another Luna 3 and it has same issue as well. Could you please help me out with this?

Hello, hello! In order to register your device please do the following:
1. Create a user account at http://www.foreo.com
2. Access your FOREO profile and click on the “Register product” button located on the left side of the screen, right under your name.
3. Register your device by entering the Serial Number (located at the bottom of the device) and the exact date of purchase.
Alternatively, you can go to https://www.foreo.com/support and register your device by entering its serial number there.
