{"id":2803,"date":"2017-12-22T09:08:16","date_gmt":"2017-12-22T09:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/mysa\/?p=2803"},"modified":"2022-03-02T08:20:32","modified_gmt":"2022-03-02T08:20:32","slug":"foreo-saves-christmas-with-notears","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/mysa\/foreo-saves-christmas-with-notears\/","title":{"rendered":"FOREO Saves Christmas from Rubbish Gifts with #NoTears Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Over half of Brits admit to being upset on Christmas because of bad gifting &#8211; ouch.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">FOREO<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has vowed it will save Christmas<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">this year from \u2018rubbish presents\u2019 after a nationwide survey found <\/span><b>more than half of Brits (56%) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">admitted to being upset on Christmas morning when opening a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">festive<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> faux pas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> from a significant other!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The study, which asked customers across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, also unveiled that girlfriends are the fussiest when it comes to pleasing, with <\/span><b>over 29% of boyfriends <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">admitting to making their partner cry with their choice of gift. Sibling-gifting was second, <\/span><b>with almost a quarter of sisters <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">not happy with their presents and <\/span><b>mums coming in third with 15% getting upset <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on Christmas morning.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>From over 2000 respondents\u2019 past experiences, festive gifts that had upset the most included:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Anti-cellulite cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Stuffed animal that sang \u2018happy birthday\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Wooden Spoon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Condoms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Weight loss insoles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Moustache Bleaching Cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Diet plan<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/notears\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2806\" src=\"https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/mysa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/12\/No-Tears-FOREO-Christmas-Campaign-1024x575.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"575\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/mysa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/12\/No-Tears-FOREO-Christmas-Campaign-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/mysa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/12\/No-Tears-FOREO-Christmas-Campaign-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/mysa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/12\/No-Tears-FOREO-Christmas-Campaign-850x477.jpg 850w, https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/mysa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/12\/No-Tears-FOREO-Christmas-Campaign-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.foreo.com\/mysa\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/12\/No-Tears-FOREO-Christmas-Campaign.jpg 1140w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Surprisingly, <\/span><b>almost 5% of Brits also named a \u2018dog\u2019 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">as a present that made them cry, <\/span><b>and even 2% named a \u2018car\u2019 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">as the surprise they received that upset them the most.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>FOREO CEO, Paul Peros<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> thinks discerning buyers and indeed<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> gift receivers<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> need so much more nowadays, and brands need to sit up and pay attention when it comes to their gift offerings.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cWe conducted this survey to gain a real insight into Brits and their present buying abilities over the festive period.
