If you answered mostly A’s, LUNA 2 for Normal skin is right for you.
Normal skin means that, the majority of the time, your skin is not too dry or too oily. If you are lucky enough to fall in this category, the best way to care for your skin is to follow a basic daily skin regimen. This includes using a gentle cleanser, LUNA 2, a toner, and SPF infused moisturizer with skin-restoring ingredients inside.
If you answered mostly B’s, LUNA 2 for Sensitive skin is right for you.
Sensitive skin means that your skin becomes irritated or red more frequently than not. When it comes to sensitive skin, it is important to be gentle and not over-exfoliate your skin. LUNA 2 for Sensitive skin features thinner silicone touchpoints to handle even the most sensitive skin. Be sure to test products before purchasing them, as not all products may be suitable for your skin type. To help combat redness, try washing your skin with lukewarm water instead of hot water.
If you answered mostly C’s, LUNA 2 for Combination skin is right for you.
Combination skin means some areas of your face are oily while other areas are dry. Typically, there’s a mix of oily and dry areas on different parts of your face, with the t-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) being slightly to very oily. Try using products that promote skin-replenishing in order to help improve your skin. For cleansers, choose gentle formulas that are labeled for combination skin, and for your daytime moisturizer use a light formula on oily areas and rich moisturizer on dry areas.
If you answered mostly D’s, LUNA 2 for Oily skin is right for you.
An oily skin type is exactly what it sounds like – excess oil on the face produces a persistently shiny or greasy appearance. If you don’t treat your oily skin, pores can become clogged and enlarged, and dead skin cells may accumulate. Blackheads, pimples and other types of acne are also common with this skin type. Be sure to wash your skin twice a day with a gentle cleanser that is suitable for oily skin. Used in combination with the LUNA 2 for Oily skin, this is a great way for unclogging pores of oil and helping to keep your face shine-free.
Discovering the perfect LUNA 2 for you based on your skin type will help you tailor the ultimate skincare routine for your skin!
Hi, I applied a skin test a few years ago and they said my skin is combination. But, Recently I applied again and then they said that my skin is dry. I am confused as to which foreo to buy? And, Can I still use that foreo device when my skin type changes? Thanks!
Dear Kome, Thanks for sharing! Skin can change over time but not so drastically so I would recommend that you see your dermatologist to assist you further into your skin routine. I hope this helps
Hi.
I have congested skin. Mostly oily spots on my face. Which one would u recommend?
Hi Anita, We would recommend for such skin type the LUNA 2 for oily skin. The touch points are different to that of the LUNA 2 Combination, Sensitive or Normal skin and would help to provide a deep clean. Please check out our range on foreo.com
I know there are many Foreo devices and I’ve heard good reviews on many of them so I don’t know which one to get. I have very oily skin with very acne prone skin with existing acne and major scar problem. Blackheads and whiteheads are all over my face. Can you please recommend the best one for me? I really just want clear skin.
Dear Houria, Thank you for your post. If you do not have sensitive skin then I would recommend the LUNA 2 for Oily skin along with the ESPADA to help banish those acne-causing bacteria. However, if you do have sensitive skin please then switch to the LUNA 2 or LUNA 3 for sensitive skin and you can change the intensity levels to suit your skin needs. Hope this helps :)
So with no questions for mature, dry skin, I’m assuming this product is not suitable? It’s certainly not marketed towards a mature audience. Interesting that for mostly A answers it states “not too dry”? Where in the questionnaire was dry skin mentioned let alone addressed?
Dear Dana, Thank you for your post and sorry that you feel that dry skin was not addressed! We are trying to aim towards the skin reactions and then we can conclude what device would suit you best. As this is a cleansing device we will mostly recommend dry mature skin types towards the LUNA 2 for sensitive skin where the silicone touch points are gentle to not cause further irritation to delicate skin nor to draw out too much moisture that this skin type desperately needs.
If you wish to take the skin test please do so on https://www.foreo.com/luna-2?v=1255 scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a BEGIN tab. Please click on this and you can begin the test. I hope this helps :)

I have sensitive skin
Dear Ruperta, Thank you for your post. In this case, we would recommend the LUNA 2 for Sensitive Skin or LUNA 3 for Sensitive Skin to help give you the cleanse that you need but without compromising your skins natural barrier. If you need more information or assistance with your choice then please feel free to get in touch with Customer Care on FOREO.COM
Skin type test doesnt work at all. In every question I am in between combination and sensitive skin. This issue should be adressed as soon as possible by Foreo because after all the research I am sure that there are many people like me that have both combination and sensitive skin.
