Brown Sugar & Coffee Scrub

Ingredients:

1/2 cup brown sugar

¼ cup coffee grounds

1/2 cup natural oil of your choice (coconut, jojoba, olive, almond or grapeseed)

Directions:

Combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Add more sugar or oil if needed to get the consistency right. When you’re satisfied, spoon it into a container.

Brown sugar scrubs work wonders on sensitive skin. They are far more gentle than salt scrubs. Meanwhile the coffee grounds reduce the appearance of cellulite and acne. Don’t forget to rinse this scrub thoroughly after you’ve exfoliated. Otherwise the sugar will leave your skin feeling sticky icky. 

Himalayan Salt Body Scrub

Ingredients:

1 cup fine Himalayan salt

1/2 cup natural oil of your choice (coconut, jojoba, olive, almond or grapeseed)

Directions:

This one’s a breeze! Place the Himalayan salt in a bowl. Then add oil by the spoonful until you achieve a consistency you like. Mix thoroughly and that’s it!

Himalayan salt has natural minerals, antibacterial properties and is also a preservative, so this salt scrub will be able to naturally preserve itself. Win-win-win!

Calming Yogurt Scrub

Ingredients: 

½ cup of nonfat Greek yogurt

½ cup oats

3 drops of essential oil

Directions:

You know the drill by now. Just mix the ingredients together until you achieve the desired consistency. Use your favorite essential oil to add some oomph! Or don’t if you want to snack on the delicious leftovers later!

This scrub is amazing for irritated skin because the probiotics in yogurt help regulate skin’s pH levels. If you’re out of yogurt, substitute it with kefir. We promise the health benefits will remain intact!

Green Tea Body Scrub

Ingredients:

2 tbsp matcha green tea

¼ cup natural oil

Directions:

Mix the ingredients well and apply a generous coat in the shower. Scrub lightly for a couple of minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

Pro tip: you can add ¼ tablespoons of baking soda if you want a more powerful cleanse. Either way, green tea is so full of antioxidants that this scrub will help repair the skin’s barrier.

Honey & Lemon Sugar Scrub

Ingredients: 

¼ cup coconut oil

¼ cup extra virgin olive oil

½ cup honey

1 cup white sugar

1 juiced lemon

Directions:

Get a big bowl. First, throw in the sugar for exfoliation. Second, add the oils for hydration and honey for its healing properties. Lastly, don’t forget about lemon juice. It will remove discoloration and blemishes. Sugar, spice, lemon, honey and everything nice!
