Is this just a trend or an amazing discovery? CBD has been a beauty buzzword for quite some time now. This comes as no surprise since it encompasses much of our current obsessions - natural beauty and stress-relief. When a single ingredient crates this much rumble you know it’s worth exploring further. What is it? Is it safe? Is it worth incorporating into your skincare routine?

What is CBD?

CBD is short for cannabidiol - a natural compound found in cannabis plants. These plants contain two primary active ingredients: THC and CBD. THC is the psychoactive ingredient while CBD isn’t. It's interesting to know that skincare products with CBD can reduce redness and irritation on our skin. I've been dealing with some red spots I have in my face for a while now and this might be a good idea to get rid of them once and for all. I'll also try consulting a dermatologist and see if applying it to my face won't make me suffer from any side effects.

I have been breaking out recently because I accidentally bought a counterfeit foundation online. It's great that you mentioned that CBD can provide hydration and nourishment to my skin and is even highly anti-inflammatory. Perhaps I should buy a CBD oil soon and incorporate it into my skincare routine so I can have clear skin again. Thanks!
