A well-rounded physical fitness routine is a key component to living a healthy lifestyle. But we typically neglect to work out the very muscles people see the most — our faces. Just like the rest of your body, the more than 57 muscles in your face and neck require exercise to stay toned and fit. These simple facial exercises can help you strengthen facial muscles, get a slim face, and even combat signs of aging.
The Brow-Raiser
If you want: Lifted brows
Perform this facial exercise regularly to keep your brows up where they belong:
- Put your index and middle fingers together in a closed peace sign
- Rest your fingernails over your brows and gently push the skin down
- Lift your brows up and down, while creating resistance with the weight of your fingernails
- Repeat 10 times
- Complete 6 sets

The Cheekbone Lift
If you want: Defined cheekbones

- Place your fingers over each cheekbone
- Gently lift the skin until taut
- Open your mouth to form an elongated “O”; you should feel resistance in your cheek muscles
- Hold for 5 seconds

- Tilt your head all the way back and push your chin forward
- Suck your cheeks in as much as possible
- Hold for 5 seconds
- Complete 10-15 sets
The Jaw Flex
If you want: A toned jawline
A double chin can make you look heavier and older than you really are. Trim face fat and get a more defined look with this face workout:
- Tilt your head back until you’re looking at the ceiling
- Move your lower lip over your upper lip as far as you can; you should feel this in the jaw muscles near your ears
- Hold for 10 seconds
- Complete 10-15 sets

I have been getting fillers in my jawline, cheeks, and nasolabial folds for the past few years. For some reason the fillers only last a couple months. I was going broke trying to look more youthful..I started doing these and what an amazing transformation!!! Now only a little Botox and a small amount of fillers around my mouth and lips keeps me looking young..thank you thank you thank you!!!

If you do the face fat loss exercise, can you regain face fat back if you stop doing the exercises. Also once you lost the face fat and then want to go in with toning, do you have to do the face fat loss exercise with toning and should I do this from the beginning of face exercising. Hi there! Please note that, in order to look younger, you need to do more than just exercise. Firstly, sunscreen (SPF50 or higher) is recommended. You also have to moisturize often in order to avoid the skin looking aged. Of course, healthy diet will help, and drinking plenty of water. Please do try facial exercises and do not disregard your skincare, as it is really important! Take care 🙂

All of us have different types of skin and some people can see the results even after a few days of repeating the exercise, while others need few weeks to notice the first results 🙂 Hope this helps!
